Can you clean the finapods?
Grinding elements may be removed by unscrewing and brushed clean. The cup containing the spice can also be hand washed. We do not recommend washing the rotating base using soap or any detergent, as they can become trapped inside. Wash rotating base with water only, shake vigorously to expel excess water and use a hair dryer on a no heat setting or allow to air dry a few days. Ceramic grinding elements are made from a porous surface and thus will hold onto and absorb soaps and detergents. For this reason, it is not recommended to wash to grinding elements. They may be brushed clean of debris. Because the FinaPod is in contact with food, and over time all food products can grow harmful pathogens, best practice is to replace your FinaPod every two years..
